Every business is shaped by the people who help build it.

Following our move from our Birmingham home to a new manufacturing base in Wednesbury, the commitment and experience of long-serving colleagues has been vital.

That is why we are pleased to recognise another group of team members through our long service awards: Pawel Pyter and Vytautas Gelcys, who have both reached 10 years with Nicklin, and Ken Pratt and Alan Wilmore, who have each reached five years with the business.

Their milestones not only reflect time served but they also reliability, teamwork and pride in doing the job properly – qualities that are central to manufacturing and essential to the service our customers expect.

In an industry where consistency matters, experienced people make a real difference. They understand the standards required, the pressures customers face and the importance of getting products made and delivered correctly. They also help pass on knowledge to others, strengthening the wider team and supporting the culture Nicklin continues to build.

David Nicklin, Managing Director of Nicklin, said: “The last decade has been a defining period for Nicklin and the company we have today has only been possible because of the people who have worked with us through that journey.

“Pawel, Vytautas, Ken and Alan have all made an important contribution to Nicklin. Their commitment, experience and attitude are exactly what we value as a business, and I would like to thank them personally for the part they have played in helping us continue to move forward.

“Long service awards are a chance to celebrate individual milestones, but they are also a reminder that strong businesses are built by strong teams. We are very fortunate to have people across Nicklin who care about their work, support their colleagues and take pride in doing things properly.”
