Finding the right people is important for any business; keeping them is what builds real strength over time. In manufacturing especially, knowledge, consistency and pride in the job are developed through experience, teamwork and a culture where people feel valued and supported to do their best work.

At Nicklin, we’re committed to creating the kind of workplace where colleagues can stay, grow and thrive. That means investing in the right environment, providing opportunities to develop, recognising contribution, and ensuring people can see a future for themselves here.

When people choose to build their career at Nicklin, it benefits everyone: customers get the reassurance of stable teams and high standards, and the business becomes more resilient, more capable and better placed to keep improving.

That’s why it’s important to pause and celebrate long service. This year we have been fortunate to recognise almost a dozen colleagues through our long service awards. Each milestone reflects the role individuals have played in supporting customers and helping the company move forward.

Today we are pleased to celebrate Weronika Cooksey and Bart Wawrzkiewicz, who have both reached five years with Nicklin. Over that time, they have become valued members of the team and have contributed to the consistency and professionalism our customers expect. We are also proud to recognise Trevor Gaynor, who has reached an extraordinary 45 years with the business – a remarkable achievement and a powerful example of long-term commitment.

David Nicklin,  Managing Director of Nicklin, said: “Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and long service is one of the clearest indicators that we’re building the right culture. Experience matters in our industry – not just in terms of technical skill, but in the standards, teamwork and pride that come from working together over time.

“I want to thank Weronika and Bart for the contribution they’ve made over the last five years, and to recognise Trevor for an incredible 45 years of commitment to Nicklin. Achievements like these don’t happen by accident; they reflect individuals who care about doing the job properly and who help make Nicklin the kind of business where others want to stay and succeed.”
